Doodle on a birthday card

I know. I know. Been quite awhile. Sickness and moving and dead computers conspired against me and this blog. Sorry. My new studio space is still in shambles. Boxes everywhere and no space to unfold the table. The Wacom tablet is still boxed up. But, new computer! Yay! Here's a co-worker birthday card sketch I done did yesternoon. She's always going on about some old commercial that went something like this:

San Diego ComicCon soon! I'll be sketching at the Cartoon Art Museum booth that Friday between 1 and 2 unless the schedule changes.

Cake

Here's me and a cake with my artwork. It was a comic book mock-up for a retirement cake and poster. It's what I've been working on recently. Also, I moved last week and my computer died so no new pieces for the blog, alas.

Can you tell I'm deathly ill in this picture?
