Guardians of the Galaxy

So, Marvel's making a Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Holy Crap! Rocket Raccoon blowing shit up on the big screen, probably in 3D to boot, just makes me all warm and fuzzy happy-happy. Plus, that series, which mysteriously went away about a year ago, was a truly spectacular comic. Bug from the Micronauts was a member from time to time. Spectacular! But there was a Guardians of the Galaxy team before Rocket Raccoon and Bug and Starlord and the rest. They were Marvel's answer to DC's Legion of Superheroes. A team of weirdos and misfits from the 31st century fighting the good fight. Right. Up. My. Alley. I didn't picked up Valentino's run on that team back in the 90s. I was never a big fan of Valentino.
